Malcolm McPherson M Sports Director 

Ex-professional football player in Europe during the 1990’s for West Ham Utd, Brentford FC, Yeovil Town, IFK Norkopping, Dagenham & Redbridge. Malcolm founded M Sports in 2004 and is now working with clubs and schools nationwide. He has coached at every level of sport, ranging from beginners to elite including New Zealand National Football League. McPherson’s passion for rugby was harnessed as a representative in Bristol UK, playing through the grades until professional football came knocking.

Chris Bryson North Shore Regional Manager

Chris is the face of M Sports on the North Shore. A well qualified coach with an incredible ability to coach children of all ages. His enthusiasm and passion has been the mainstay of the M Sports programme for over 10 years. We are lucky to have such a well sought after coach. Chris started playing sport as a rugby player in his hometown, London. Blessed with pace, athleticism and balance, his days as a winger were an excellent grounding for his future career in football. Chris has been the Director of Coaching at North Shore United and now Takapuna AFC.

Tom Speers M Sports Regional Manager Auckland City/East/West 

Tom has been a manager for M Sports since 2015. His coaching experience is extensive working with all levels of player from beginner to senior. His ability to coach all levels, and build relationships with schools, clubs and federations has seen the programme grow considerably in the region. Tom has coached the senior 1st team men of North Shore United AFC. Tom was a flanker at a competitive level in the UK school’s rugby system.

Kofi Dwamena – Auckland South/East Regional Manager

Kofi has a passion for sport. He currently plays football in NZ’s top senior league and was recently the top scorer for his club in their promotion winning season. He has coached across all age groups and is currently on the NZ coaching pathway to upskill and develop.
